Status of current selection exercises

The following selection exercises are currently under way in DFAT. The status of these will be updated regularly as each selection exercise progresses. An explanation of the terminology used is provided below.
- Shortlisting: The selection committee is assessing applications and contacting referees to determine which candidates will proceed through to the interview stage. *
- Interviewing: The selection committee is interviewing shortlisted candidates (either in person or by phone).*
- Finalising Report: The selection committee is finalising its recommendations to the delegate, once approved offers of employment will be made.
* Due to the volume of applications received for vacancies, a selection committee may choose to complete the shortlisting and interviewing stages concurrently. Applicants should not assume that they have not been shortlisted for an interview if the status shows 'shortlisting/interviewing'. Formal email notification will be sent advising a candidate if they have been unsuccessful in progressing to the interview stage.
