A striking collection of artistic works from the Kubin community of Mua Island, located in the Torres Strait north of Australia’s mainland. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, through its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program, is proud to tour this exciting exhibition throughout its global network of diplomatic missions.
About the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program (ATSI)
- develops projects and initiatives that underline the important contributions of Australia's Indigenous peoples through their involvement in the arts, business, industry and professional fields;
- displays exhibitions owned or leased by DFAT, throughout the world;
- delivers and supports cultural programs and activities;and
- produces publications on Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures for the Department's overseas posts.
