Australia International Cultural Council
The Australia International Cultural Council (AICC) is Australia’s key cultural diplomacy body. A consultative group, the AICC is composed of leaders from government, the arts and business with a common interest in promoting Australia abroad though the arts and culture. The AICC is chaired by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Stephen Smith MP, and the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, the Hon Peter Garrett AM MP.
15th Meeting of the AICC
On 9 February 2009, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Stephen Smith and the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, Peter Garrett, co-chaired for the first time a meeting of the AICC.
AICC Grants Program
The latest round of Australia International Cultural Council (AICC) funding was announced on 31 December 2008 by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Stephen Smith, and Minister for the Arts, Peter Garrett.
